Sharing is caring

CodeConnect advocates for a better future through access to clean water, renewable energy and education for children in poor and crisis areas.

Save the planet

Scientists are sounding the alarm like never before: if greenhouse gas emissions do not drop immediately and significantly, the 1.5-degree target – and even the 2-degree target – will soon be out of reach. There is a risk of global warming reaching 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2030, a decade earlier than previously predicted. In the worst-case scenario, sea levels could rise by as much as two meters by the end of the century.

The consequences would be catastrophic. Extreme weather events, once rare, such as those we have experienced in recent years, will continue to intensify. The pressure to act is greater than ever and affects nearly every area of our lives. We urgently need effective measures that are not just on paper, but genuinely reduce CO₂ emissions.

Through socially responsible projects, CodeConnect is advocating for renewable energy, sustainable transportation transition, eco-friendly agriculture, and the protection of rainforests. This is the only way to achieve the 1.5-degree goal!

Water Saves Lives

Millions of children still lack access to clean drinking water. Boys and girls urgently need safe water to survive and stay healthy. More than 2 billion people around the world do not have regular access to clean water. Drinking water and hygiene are not just basic needs, but often improve the quality of life as a whole. When a village has its own well, children have more time for school because carrying water from distant sources takes up a lot of strength and time.

We, CodeConnect, together with our partners and with the support of humanitarian organizations, are building wells and repairing water systems in war-torn and crisis areas to provide people with access to clean drinking water.

Bag Against Poverty

Children in many impoverished countries face serious challenges: hunger, poor sanitation, lack of healthcare, and limited access to education shape their everyday lives. Around 260 million children and young people worldwide cannot attend school. We are fighting to ensure their right to education is finally realized, as it is the only way to break the vicious cycle of poverty and many of the problems that arise from it. Education is a fundamental human right and the key to solving many global challenges.

We believe that every child in the world deserves the opportunity for education and a better life. CodeConnect strives to support schools in impoverished countries by providing educational materials such as computers, bags, calculators, and other essential learning tools.

A Roof Over Their Heads

SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina are dedicated to providing a safe and stable environment for children without parental care and children at risk. Through its programs, the organization strives to ensure that children grow up in a family setting, with a focus on emotional security and development.

The “A Roof Over Their Heads” campaign aims to raise funds for the renovation of houses and apartments of SOS families, ensuring safety, warmth, and dignity for children and young people without parental care. This initiative contributes to the sustainability of the programs and provides long-term support for children and youth.

CodeConnect recognized the importance of this campaign and decided to get involved through a donation. Our employees had the opportunity to choose charitable causes they wished to support, and collectively they chose to support SOS Children’s Villages. This initiative reflects our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our desire to contribute to positive change in the community.

Orphans in Tanzania

Our company is a proud participant in the humanitarian project “Help for Orphans in Tanzania,” which was launched in early 2024.
The aim of the project is to support children without parental care in Tanzania – by providing scholarships, food, education, and improved living conditions.

As part of this initiative, 25 scholarships have been awarded to orphaned children so far, and numerous activities such as school renovations, educational programs, and the organization of Iftars have been successfully carried out.
We are delighted to contribute to a project that brings smiles and new hope to children who deserve warmth and care.

"Hand on Heart" Run

We are proud to have participated in the charity run “Hand on Heart,” which aimed to raise funds for providing scholarships to children from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
This run, whose first edition took place last year, left a strong positive impact on the participants and the wider community. Thanks to the donations collected, the “Hand on Heart” Association was able to announce a public call and award scholarships to students who needed support the most.

This year, the run is being organized again with the same goal – to provide support to even more children and to promote the spirit of community, humanity, and healthy living.
The event will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at Vilson Promenade.

We are delighted to be part of this beautiful story and initiative that brings together sport, solidarity, and humanity.
